We are offering a full time, on-site position with a reasonably flexible schedule, located at our headquarters office in St. Charles, MO. This experienced Help Desk Technician position hourly wages start at $21.00/hr plus the opportunity to earn yearly bonuses. Summary of essential job functions:

  • Provide hardware and software support to local and remote users.
  • Resolve 1st Level Support network issues.
  • Analyze computer software and system configurations to identify user-reported IT issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Escalate complex IT issues to appropriate team members based on escalation procedures.
  • Setup and configure users' desktops/Laptops.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve users' issues related to networking connections, OS, MS-Office, etc.
  • Order appropriate hardware and software based on recommended users' needs.
  • Manage company Cell phones.
  • Keep track of company hardware and software assets.
  • Maintain accurate records of help desk activities to track user history and report recurring problems.
  • Provide daily updates on helpdesk metrics based on defined IT measures and benchmarks.
  • Master and manage current helpdesk support software application.
  • Other IT tasks as assigned

Minimum requirements:

  • Must have a 4-year College Degree in IT or related fields.
  • 2-3+ years related experience supporting computer users.
  • Solid understanding of standard computer system concepts, MS Windows, desktop architecture
  • Familiar with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
  • Experience and proven skills with Microsoft Office Version 2016, Office 365 and Widows 10
  • Display strong customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn other IT skills including those related to Telecommunications, Data Center, etc.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work atmosphere.
  • Professional attitude and goal-oriented work ethic
  • The ability to quickly learn the basics of new software and tools
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.  
  • Excellent customer service.
