Email Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

Keep current and prospective customers engaged and informed through new content and promotional opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, test, and implement email marketing campaigns
• Compile and present weekly reports covering KPIs such as delivery, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, and revenue
• Segment email marketing database effectively in order to meet business objectives
• Ensure mailings launch successfully at scheduled times (often outside of typical business hours)
• Monitor deliverability of email marketing campaigns and make adjustments for optimal performance
• Plan, implement, and track A/B and multivariate tests for transactional, triggered, and marketing mailings
• Submit and track database requests as needed
• Execute monthly email marketing audits to ensure accuracy of workflow and content
• Update and refresh transactional, triggered, and lifecycle email marketing campaigns as needed
• Proactively identify and report on performance trends amongst various audience segments
• Monitor, evaluate, and negotiate key vendor relationships
• Keep current with industry innovations, trends, and best practices across functional areas
• Ensure customer data policies and [company]'s privacy policies are enforced CASL, CCPA, GDPR etc
• Select new products and/or services based on business goals and metrics
• Ensure removal and/or suppression of bad email addresses and domains, hard bounces, complaints, and inactive subscribers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in email marketing required
• Comprehension of and compliance with CAN-SPAM laws and any potential changes
• Familiarity and expertise with enterprise email software (Listrak, salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.) strongly preferred

Experience with web and mobile app products strongly preferred
