EDI Specialist Contract

Propper is looking for a talented, knowledgeable EDI Specialist to assist the company in standing up all EDI interfaces with our ERP system, Infor M3. This will be a contract position with an hourly rate of $50-$60 an hour. The length of the contract will be no less than 3 months and will end when all EDI integrations with partners and customers are completed. As well as an EDI set up documented process from start to finish is created and current IT team is trained in that process.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in IT or related fields.
• 4+ years of practical experience in EDI design, development, and maintenance using TrueCommerce EDI Transaction Manager.
• Advanced experience in EDI requirements and documents including Invoices (810), ASN (856), Purchase Orders (850), Inventory (846), Payment/Remittance (820), etc.
• Solid understanding of ANSI X12 standards and communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, and VAN.
• Experienced in TrueCommerce onboarding to create ERP maps for inbound/outbound trading partners.
• Ability to create migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state solutions.
• Experienced in Planning, scheduling, and tracking project timelines, milestones, and deliverables and providing status reports to stake holders and/or management.
• Ability to work with internal business resources and third-party vendors.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Practical experience in Infor M3 MEC will be a great plus.
• Experience with .NET/C#, ASP.Net, HTML, XSLT, SQL, and XML is a plus

Responsibilities

• This position will manage all aspects of EDI including direct collaboration with our trading partner base to collect EDI specifications, initiate testing, plan go-live dates, and monitor post-onboarding activity (Partners include Amazon - US, Amazon Canada, Walmart, E-Bay, as well as wholesale B2B customers)
• The EDI Integration Specialist will continue the migration of customers and warehouses from our legacy EDI platform to True Commerce and will be responsible for integration with our ERP system, Infor M3
• Will be developing and maintaining EDI Maps - need to understand the documents
• Putting together segments
• Participate in Tier 1 & Tier 2 help desk activities for business applications and EDI systems
• Will be contacting customers/suppliers and working through the integrations with their ERP system so need to have professional skills and business acumen
• End-to-end Edi testing, including integration with Infor M3 ERP
• Pricing structure setup within Infor M3 ERP
• Communicating with stake holders on a weekly basis
• Moving pricing from EDI to ERP system
• This person will come in and continue this process from where the previous person left off
• Customer implementations
• Creating a process to stand up future EDI integrations for new customers and train the current IT team on that process
