Back End Developer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Back End Developer to help us create compelling, scalable, and creative web applications. We primarily use PHP (Magento) as the foundation for building websites and applications, and we constantly evaluate new tools and technologies so we can build solutions to fit our clients' needs.

Main functions and responsibilities:

-Cloud-based technologies and APIs

-Main focus on coding, troubleshooting, and debugging applications

-Collaborate with Front-end developers

-Define and communicate technical and design requirements

-Working in an Agile Project management environment

-Build high-quality reusable code that can be used in the future

-Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of designers, developers and system administrators

-Learn about new technologies and stay up to date with current best practices

-Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle

-Working in shared code repositories (GitHub)

Additional Knowledge:

-Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS

-3-5 years of experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby, Magento and Python

-1-2 years of experience with CMS framework

-1-2 years' experience for both the APIs and GitHub

-In-depth understanding of web development

-Good organizational and time-management skills

Experience:

-Bachelor degree plus 5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
