AP/AR Specialist

Propper's Finance team is located at the HQ in St. Charles, MO and serves as the recordkeeping, reporting and analysis, and back office transactional processing functions for the company. The Finance Team conducts itself ethically, with professionalism and uncompromising integrity. The department is a high performance team, providing the company and its other functions scalable transactional processing, and high levels of service in the strategic assessment, financial analysis and reporting areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable

• Complete 3-way match and resolve discrepancies.
• Validate approval on invoices and check requests.
• Coding vendor invoices to the correct legal entity and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process checks, ACH and wire payments for multiple legal entities.
• Process employee expense reimbursements.
• Update and maintain vendor database.
• Maintains accounts payable files.
• Reconciles vendor statements.
• Special projects as assigned.

Accounts Receivable

• Post customer payments by recording transactions from bank lockbox account, credit card processors, and remote deposits of checks.
• Post customer payments by recording ACH and wire transfers.
• Process manual invoicing for multiple legal entities and customers.
• Process credit card refunds to customers.
• Reconcile customer account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service, collections, and from customers.
• Review short payment of invoices by customers and reference agreements for validity of short payment.
• Provide customer statements.
• Special projects as assigned.
